In a unexpected partnership that defies traditional expectations, the game developer has unveiled an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Uncovered

According to the official statement, "A mysterious confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh mission, where hints of forbidden ceremonies and monstrous transformations reverberate through the obscurity." The storyline introduces a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with traveling into the Crystal Cave—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her companion from a hidden sect.

The questline centers on "strange experiments and a terrifying enemy" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Places and Metamorphoses

The trailer showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The teaser ends with a powerful sequence showing a character, presumably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Rewards and Additional Material

Players who successfully complete the adventure will acquire an exclusive katana alongside multiple artifacts concealed throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:
